League Station is built on publicly available NFL statistics aggregated by the open-source nflverse community. We are grateful to the maintainers and contributors of these projects for making rigorous football analytics accessible to everyone.

Primary Data Sources

  • nflverse — schedules, rosters, depth charts, snap counts, weekly player and team statistics, injuries, draft history, combine results, and game officials. Released under permissive open data terms with attribution.
  • nflfastR — play-by-play data with Expected Points Added (EPA), Win Probability (WP), and Completion Percentage Over Expected (CPOE) models.
  • Pro Football Reference — advanced passing, rushing, and receiving statistics including pressures, broken tackles, and on-target throw rates.
  • NFL Next Gen Stats — player tracking-derived metrics such as separation at catch, time to throw, rush yards over expected, and aggressiveness. Next Gen Stats is a trademark of the National Football League.
  • FTN Fantasy — charting data covering personnel groupings, play-action and RPO usage, blitz rates, and pressure attribution.
  • OverTheCap — NFL contract and salary cap data.
  • ESPN — Total Quarterback Rating (QBR).

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL team, the NFL Players Association, Electronic Arts, or any of the data providers listed above. All team names, logos, and player names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary in a nominative-fair-use capacity.
